3. Set up your License and Medical
Your instructor will assist you in signing up through MedExpress as well as IACRA to get your private pilot student license as well as your FAA physical process started.
As a rental pilot you are required to carry a Renter’s policy with at least $10,000 in hull coverage. We have partnered with Bullock Insurance to offer competitive rates. You can apply online at Bullock Agency website You can choose any insurance company you like, however you must provide proof of insurance within the first two weeks of joining.
This is a Federal requirement that all new students must comply with. You can provide a valid/current US Passport or, both a current Driver’s License and Birth Certificate.
A Private Pilot materials kit is available thru Sky's Edge Aviation. This kit contains all books, charts, and tools needed throughout the private pilot course of instruction.
